Mason's B-Day

This was a while ago, but too cute to not post. Mason turned 3 and had a THOMAS THE TRAIN birthday party at the park. Mason is Tylie's boyfriend, okay friend, but she really likes him! Don't they make a cute couple? I already have their wedding arranged :)
Ummm, Yummy!

Fun Weekend

We went up to Mesa last weekend because Dallas was going to his brothers 30th Birthday party! They went paintballing and out to eat. He didn't have the camera so there is no proof of how messy he got, but lets just say the next morning his pillow had turned fluorescent green from the paint in his hair! Anyways, while he was out playing I decided to have a little fun of my own. I went to my friend Carrie's house and she taught us how to make these cute earring holders. She is really creative and going to start selling them so look at her blog for some upcoming products!
Carrie, Regan, Me
It was Dallas' friend Collin's birthday so we decided to get a group together and go out. It was the most random group of people, but everyone really got along and had a great time. We went to this place way up in Phoenix called Dave and Busters, it's basically like a kids place but for adults. They have video games, bowling, and restaurants with big screen TVs. The guys were in heaven! Everyone went home except for us and Adam and Abi, we went to see Juno (my second time) but we missed the beginning which is the funniest part.
Saturday I went to lunch at Sauce with one of my best friends from high school Shana. She just got engaged over Christmas and I hadn't seen her ring yet. Her and her fiance Travis are SO cute! He asked her on the beach at the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego (so romantic!)
Finally we hung out at the Haughts before we had to leave and Tylie found out that she loves country music and cowboy hats. She saw a picture of George Strait and kept calling him daddy! I guess they look alike?!

Mt. Lemmon

The cool thing about Tucson is you can go from this...
...to this in 40 minutes
Since Dallas had work off today, we decided to take a trip up to Mt. Lemmon to see the snow. I had to teach a class at the gym in the morning so I was worried to go because it would be during Tylie's nap, and if you know Tylie she gets CRAZY if she isn't in her bed at nap time. We took a chance and went anyways and as much as I'd like to say it was worth it, um well I'm still not sure it was!
The best part of the trip was the pizza at the top of the mountain. It was SO yummy!
Tylie ate a few bites before she was off playing with all the toy bears in the lodge
This is my excited mom face because Tylie had just calmed down and I thought she was going to doze off! YES! Oh crap, I was wrong. She never fell asleep, just got more psycho. Plus we were coasting on empty. I have never gotten to where the dashboard reads 0 miles left till empty. Hey, now we know it goes past 0! Well we made it back, got gas, and got little monster back to bed! I wouldn't say it was the most relaxing little trip but I guess the pizza made it somewhat worth it. The things I will do for food!! Hope you all had a good Presidents Day off.

Things that make Tylie happy!

So this weekend Dallas' brother Blue came down and brought a slide that their kids don't use anymore. Tylie was on cloud nine acting like she had never seen a slide in her life!

There is also a little play area under the slide that she was ecstatic about as you can see! I am so glad it only takes a slide to make her happy (for a while at least).
