I see sparks fly whenever you smile :)

Kristen, Me, Marci, Lynn, Regan, Mckinzi
This past weekend I had so much fun with my girlfriend's! Lynn came into town and we all had a nice break away from the kiddos. Eating, laughing, talking, crafting (kind of), concerts, and more laughing!
We went to see Taylor Swift and reminisced on the days we were in high school and went to concerts together. Oh to be young again!

Marci cracks me up in the very back!

We ate out a lot that weekend. Pita Jungle...

BJ's Pizza and the best pazookies...
And I am learning to like sushi but can't quite get the chop stick thing down.
I am so lucky to have the best group of girlfriends. Even though I was wiped out from staying up late talking all night, it was worth every second!

10 years!!

Go Gilbert Tigers!
Can't believe I am SO old! My 10 year reunion came and went. Did time fast forward because I'm pretty sure I graduated like last year!
Love you girls!!
One of my best friends Shana and her hubby Travis
Before the reunion we ate at our old stomping ground Matta's. We would go in and order one cheese crisp to share! I am pretty sure the waiters hated us cheap high school girls :)

And She's Two!!

My Baby Brynn turned two in September! We had a little party for her with my family and luckily my sister was in town because she took over all the decorations. I have had so much going on that I couldn't even think about planning the party but Rachel did a great job!

Aunt Rachel gave Brynn little moccasins. Cute!

Rachel made all these little butterflies for the party...
Easy cake but still cute!
I use these decorations in Brynns room now
It was so nice having my brother home from his mission and my sister in town for that weekend. On Brynn's actual birthday I took her to the mall and she got a Build a Bear, pink sparkly Toms, and a pink purse. I think she was most excited about the random Barney DVD I got last minute for 5 bucks! Who knew??
I cannot believe it was two years ago I had this little towhead. I was so excited for her to come and she had the sweetest little personality. It has been so fun watching my girls become friends and love each other! Although I do believe the day Brynn turned two she immediately fit the "terrible two's" category with her attitude and constantly telling me to "STOP IT!" I can't help but laugh when she yells at me because she has always been my sweet quiet one.
Love you Brynnie!!

Change is good...right?

"Sometimes something good has to come undone for something great to come together"

This has been the quote of my life lately. I remind myself of this when life gets rough. Some of you know that I am going through a divorce. This is something I never would have expected to happen in my life. I feel like bad things are only supposed to happen to others. My life wasn't supposed to unfold this way.
Well for more than five months now I have been dealing with major changes and surprises in my life. I have been through a roller coaster of emotions and glad to say that I am in a better place now than I was five months ago. My biggest worry was my girls. Who wants their kids to be raised in a broken home?? Feelings of sadness, anger, disappointment, hurt and hope have all taken over me. I am so blessed to say that my girls have so far been taking the changes very well.
I live with the girls in a little one story rental which has actually simplified my life. I will never again have a two story! I do not miss running up and down the stairs 2o times in the morning to get things for Tylie. Not to mention way less to clean!
I braced myself before the move for Tylie to act out (because normally with change she doesn't do so well) but she has been overall very happy. The girls see mom and dad all the time just at separate times. The way Tylie has been has made both Dallas and I recognize there have been angles surrounding her at this difficult time. No doubt have my girls and I felt peace at times of trial. Don't get me wrong, being a single mom has been such a challenge. There are days I don't know if I can do it. I look forward to any time I have to myself and appreciate little things so much more.
I am trying to enjoy this time of change as much as possible by bettering myself and spending quality time with my girls. I have learned so much from all of this. Don't take one single day for granted. Enjoy the little things in life.
I am SO blessed to have family and friends who have supported me through this. I don't know what I would do without them! I am also so blessed to have a Heavenly Father who loves me and wants me to be happy. You are the driver down the path of life. Choose where you want to go. The sky is the limit!

Tylie's Graduation

Tylie and Mrs. Francie
This day was bittersweet. I was so emotional but not because my baby was growing up and moving onto kindergarten etc... it was because she was incredibly difficult! I had to drag her in screaming and crying while watching all the other kids sitting in their seats with their cute graduation hats on. Obviously my pictures don't capture these moments and maybe that's a good thing. She was happy by the end and I was happy to get through one more morning with this crazy girl!

Way to go Tylie!
I was dreading kindergarten just knowing how hard it was to get her to preschool three days a week but miraculously she has been so good lately. I feel blessed for any day that Tylie wakes up happy!
