The Day Has Come!

I knew this day would come but it came too soon! Tylie has found her independance with dressing herself! Mainly with shoes. She loves shoes! She changes her shoes all the time and of course they are always mismatching. She won't wear sweaters that zip up because she will just unzip it. So I had to buy ones that go over her head and now she won't let me put those on. She also won't wear socks. It's no wonder why she is sick right now. She is so stubborn!

Brittany's Birthday

It is my friend Brittany's birthday on Christmas so we got a group together to celebrate and take her out. We ate at Macaroni Grill. It was way fun but my food wasn't that great. I still prefer Olive Garden!
We made her wear a tiara. She was so embarassed people were asking if it was her bridal shower. Happy birthday Brittany!

Work Party

Dallas took us to his work party last weekend. They catered out Mexican food so I was happy and Tylie was happy playing with Raegan. Dallas won in bowling and it was a confirmation to me why I hate bowling. Let's just say a four year old beat me! Way to go Brigham!
I enjoyed sitting with Tylie eating the ICEE more than embarrassing myself more each time I got up to bowl
This is the cutest smile I have ever seen! Raegan has the biggest cheeks, I just want to squeeze them! Sorry for cutting your head off Trisha.Tylie and Daddy
It was a fun day bowling, eating, gift exchanges, and meeting all the work people! Thanks Pfizer!!

Oh Crap!

I am so sad. I tried to finally do a cute background and not knowing what I am doing, somehow all my friends were erased and my music! :( Some of my posts are gone too! I am so mad. Unless anyone knows how I can get them back, I guess just write me so I have your address again. Dangit! What the heck did I do?!

Tylie's Birthday

I tried to find just one picture to post of Tylie and of course I end up making a slide show because I can't choose just one. I can't believe it was two years ago that I went into the hospital to have Tylie. I remember how scared I was that I would be responsible of taking care of this baby ALL the time! Now I can't imagine my life without her. It has been the best two years of my life. Who ever thought watching a two year old would be entertaining? She cracks me up more than anything. She is so fun now that she talks and has more of a personality. She has always been head strong and independent. I can't recall a time where she has ever fallen asleep in anyone's lap because she is constantly moving, talking, crying or laughing. The best is when she talks to herself and then cracks up! I swear she has an imaginary friend because she is always talking and moving her hands like adults do, then laughs hysterically. I love the little things she does like when I rock her before her nap she tries to pick my nose and thinks it's so funny! Or when she snuggles in bed with me in the morning to watch cartoons (for one minute). I do have to admit she is a daddy's girl and would prefer daddy over me any day, but that's okay I am sure I will get my momma's boy one day. As for now I will cherish those moments I have with her when dad is at work. Okay I could go on forever but that would be boring. Tylie is so extreme, crazy insane or crazy funny! That is what we love most about her. Happy Birthday baby!

Woops!! Ouch!

So tonight I was holding half an avocado in my hand ready to pierce the seed to twist it and pull it out... I raised the knife and somehow as I went in, it slipt and instead I pierced the center of my hand! I freaked out because there was so much blood. I am okay now but it stabbed me pretty deep. At least my fingers still work so I can type new posts! :)

Tylie's Birthday Party

Tylie turns two on the 12th so we had her party this weekend. Her favorite gift was the baby bed and baby high chair my mom gave her. She would not open the rest after she got that!
No I am not a baker, but I did have fun learning how to make an Elmo cake. Tylie was a little sad when we were eating Elmo though. Let's just say we will wait to bring out the Elmo pinata till she is old enough to understand we are not beating Elmo up! She is obsessed with Elmo!
My friend Marci's kids Kinzi and Eli with Tylie
Thanks to our families for driving 2 hours in the rain to stay for a few hours and celebrate! My mom just had surgery and Dallas' mom is on chemo and they all still came. We love you!

Christmas time...

I am in need of catching up! We went to see Santa last week and Tylie was really excited! She wore her "santa" dress and could not wait...
Mommy and Tylie before sitting on Santa's lap. She is getting a little nervous. Then once she saw him she freaked out and would not sit on his lap. So, it became a family picture! We had fun going with our friends the Cannons although Tylie is more afraid of Santa more than ever now.
We went to our ward Christmas party this weekend and adopted a little boy the same night. Not really, Logan just liked sitting on Dallas' lap and then of course Tylie got jealous and had to sit and Daddy's lap also. I guess she is tickling him in this picture?!

Poor Kitty!

The Haught's wanted to give away their Kitty so we thought it would be a fun thing to entertain Tylie with. His name is Gravy since we got him over Thankgiving. Such a cute thing but we didn't realize Tylie would destroy it!! Anyone want a kitty because I don't think he is comfortable here!

Thanksgiving Weekend

This year my mom's side of the family drove about 14 hours from California to be with us. It was fun to see everyone.
Rachel, cousin Casey, cousin Eric's new wife Alex, cousin Kristen, Me :)

Waiting and Waiting and Waiting for Matta's! It was about an hour wait but I will wait any amount of time for Mexican food!!

LUNCH with my mom her two sisters and the girls at Crackers (one of my favorite lunch places). They have the best breadpudding with berries!

We went to see the ROCKETTES perform which was way more fun than I expected. Then of course we had to keep the tradition going and go to Bahama Bucks! My cousin Kristen loves going there. Best shaved ice in the world! Plus can't forget it was my first job! (Eat Yellow Snow). I've been waiting for it to turn cold so I can wear my hats and sweaters so I took the opportunity since it's at least below 90. I figure that's the only chance I'd get in AZ!

Dad and Rachel enjoying Bahama Bucks. I just realized all we did the whole weekend was EAT! Haha

Blessing

Taylor and Stephanie blessed their new baby Eli on Sunday so we had the whole Haught family together!
Then we had a preview of Christmas and the cousins exchanged gifts since they won't be together for the actual day. Tylie got a cute little BACKPACK with a baby that goes in it. She loves babies!
She will be a great MOM someday. She pats the baby and bounces while saying "Shhhh Shhhh" She also held baby Eli which was the first real baby she had ever held and she kept kissing him saying "Ohh nice baby" She did not want to let him go!

Joey's getting hitched!

My beautiful cousin Joelle is getting married this weekend so last weekend I went up to Mesa to go through the temple with her and throw a bridal shower. This is her and her fiance Mike. Don't they make a cute couple? I keep telling her they are going to have the cutest BABIES!

We played the GAME where her and Mike had to answer the same questions right or she had to eat a huge piece of gum, if they got them right she got a gift. Needless to say she got a few wrong!

Regan's Hair

The before shot...
The after
I was there when Regan chopped her hair. I think it looks so good. She was going for the Kelly Ripa look. I think it worked!

Shana's Birthday

I was up in Mesa this weekend and I went to see my friend SHANA at the new Japanese restaurant for her birthday. I can't believe how white I look compared to her. In high school I used to be tan. What happened? Thanks Regan for being white with me! :)
This was our "Japanese" server HECTOR! From Japauana he said. Haha! He was so funny! I don't know if you can tell in this picture but he put a face on the egg then cracked it and made it BARF. He said it had too much tequila!

Happy Halloween!!

On Halloween I had my friend's little boys come and play with Tylie. She loved having someone smaller than her to follow her around and someone bigger for her to follow around.
Tylie, Logan, and Mason
Then we had chicken tortilla soup and went TRICK OR TREATING. I think it was Tylie's favorite night ever! She got to eat as much candy and cookies as she wanted. Then after the Halloween party that we went to she was a nightmare! Too much sugar and a late bedtime will do that. I guess you could say she really turned into a WITCH! Haha.

Temple Trip

Another temple trip with my Young Women. They came up the night before and we stayed at my parents house then went to the temple Saturday morning. It was so fun and my girls are so great! For all of you who live in Mesa, appreciate that you are close to the temple. Can you guess where the leaders are? Bet you can't!
After the girls went home we stayed and hung out with my family and went to Dallas' grandma's 80th birthday party. My mom got a pumpkin costume for Gracie (the dog). Tylie loved it!
She is obsessed with "Sissy" and follows her around everywhere!

Pumpkins in Arizona

This is what happens when you put a beautiful pumpkin out in the Arizona heat...
You get a wrinkly old man!

Ward Halloween Party!!!

So if anyone knows Dallas, they know he does NOT like to dress up! Luckily I convinced him to throw on a wig, then some fake teeth and become white trash with me for the ward party. It was supposed to be a must for everyone (including the adults) to dress up. Well, as the night went on and Dallas saw that hardly any adults were dressed up he got more and more annoyed that I made him. It was worth it, he was definately the best JOE DIRT I've ever seen!
Tylie was supposed to be a big pumpkin that you can stuff. It was my little brothers costume when he was a baby. She would not have any part in that. She screamed and ran away from it when I brought it out! So, I had to find something she would wear that was just like putting on a dress. She was the cutest little witch ever!

Any Cowboy's Fan's?!

This is Dallas' dream come true! His whole family in Cowboys shirts. I wish I cared more about sports, but I am trying. It just seems like every game is the "most important game ever." Oh well, I am married to a sports junky! I told him I would watch more games with him if he watches Dancing With the Stars with me, it hasn't happened yet!
Wild and crazy hair! Where did she get those thick eyebrows?
This was AMAZING! If anyone knows Tylie, they know she does not sit still for one second. So when she layed on my dad's lap for a few minutes I was stunned! She has NEVER fallen asleep anywhere but her bed. She loves Pappa!

Pumpkins Galore!!!

We went to Wilcox last weekend and got some pumpkins! First we went to the Apple Orchard and got yummy apple bread, carmeled apples and apple ice-cream. Then we picked our own Fuji apples and they are SO good! After that we picked some pumpkins from the vine and Tylie was in Heaven! To top it off we ate at Pizza Hut, can you say stomach ache? It was a fun day!
The ride out to the Apple Orchard on the tractor.
Dallas and Tylie
When I was gone at mutual Dallas and Tylie carved one of the pumpkins. Every night Tylie has to go outside and look at her masterpiece.
