The past three nights we have woken up to hear Tylie cracking up hysterically!! I mean seriously this girl took some laughing pills because it is just her and her bed. What could possibly be so funny? She talks to herself and then cracks up. Now that I think about it, it is really funny but at one in the morning I think anything but! These are probably the moments I should go grab the video camera and listen to her outside her room but I just yell at her "Why aren't you going to bed?" and she says "I don't even know!!" Maybe next time I will think to record it! And no she is not sleeping, she is just goofing around in the middle of the night.

Chicago/Milwaukee (longest post ever!!)
On the train into the city I couldn't help but notice this guy looked a lot like someone. Any guesses? If you said LEO you are correct! It is not the greatest picture but the more I looked at him he really did look like Leonardo Dicaprio. Don't worry, I made it look like I was taking a picture of Dallas so he didn't know I was stalking him.
The first night we walked down to Navy Pier. There were fireworks over the water and we got ice cream cones and went on the Ferris Wheel. The weather was perfect. I packed tons of sweaters and scarves but all we needed were t-shirts and jeans.
The next day we just walked around the city. There are some really neat buildings.
We had lunch at a little french cafe on the river.
I wanted to ride the boat down the river like on "My Best Friends Wedding" but we ran out of time.
This is the hotel we stayed at. It was right in the heart of Chicago on Magnificent Mile
Have you ever seen these guys? They act like robots. It reminded me of San Fran.
We went to the top of the Hancock building. If you are afraid of heights this would not be your thing. I was getting a little woozy up there. You can feel the building swaying. This picture was taken at the top.

I had to talk Dallas out of getting this Chicago Bears old fashion helmet
Last day in Chicago walking across the river.
We took a train to Milwaukee for the rest of the trip given by Pfizer.
The first night we had a great dinner in the hotel.
Then the group walked around townUs and our friends Paul and Trish
The girls with Fonzie?!
Here is the moment we had been waiting for! The RUN THROUGH THE WAREHOUSE!!
Dallas and his District got 75 seconds to run through and grab whatever they wanted. They took this very seriously! Dallas had been doing sprints every night to get in shape for this moment. Ha! It was so exciting.
We walked through for 20 minutes before they ran to see what there was and pick out the "must haves". Just to name a few things we got... TV, DVD player, GPS system, pots and pans, ipod, telescope... Dallas ended up getting 25 items! His boss went crazy and grabbed 38 (and he was the sick one!)
The whole Pfizer District
The last day we walked around Milwaukee. It really is a pretty city too. I was impressed. Someone had warned me how ghetto it is so I wasn't expecting much but the area we were in was nice.

This is the hotel Pfizer put us up in called the Pfister

TOMBSTONE
Last Friday was Dallas's birthday so his brother and wife, sister and husband and little sister came down to Tucson.
We grilled up some steak and chicken, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, salad and of course yummy cake and Dallas's favorite cookie dough ice cream!
Cute Jen
Saturday we decided to go to Tombstone since it is fairly close to where we live and we had never been there. I have to say it was better than I expected. It was a cute little town.
We enjoyed the nice weather, Tylie liked the horses.
I thought this sign was funny
This street sign said "toughnut" ha ha
We had lunch outside and the weather was nice. They put on a gun show (I was surprised it didn't scare Tylie at all, I jumped more than her). Besides the bad acting and the flies it was pretty good. Tylie was having bladder problems so Dallas and I took turns walking her to the bathroom about 20 times (she never went!) so we missed a lot of the show, but it sounded like I didn't miss much. My food was good though!
Cute couple!
When we first got there we took a trolley ride to see the town

Porter Jackson Haught
This past weekend has made me realize how extremely precious life is. We were all anxiously awaiting the arrival of Kelly and Blue's baby boy (my sister-in-law and brother-in-law). Kelly was supposed to be induced on Tuesday and she went into labor Saturday night. It is never good when you get a call in the middle of the night, especially when it is four calls in a row and you finally wake up and realize the phone is ringing. It is late, and your heart sinks. I answered to hear my mother-in-law explain that the baby was gone. Little Porter Jackson Haught had passed away a day or two before Kelly went into labor.
The next day we drove up to Scottsdale to help support Kelly and Blue. I can't even imagine the pain they are going through. My heart aches for them. Porter Jackson had dark brown hair and was absolutley beautiful! He looked like he was peacefully sleeping and I was just waiting for his chest to rise to see him take a breath. Perfect little baby.
The nurse said the most dangerous day in your life is the day you are born. Every birth is truely a miracle. I know Porter will be looking over us in Heaven and he will still be there through his family's life, cheering on his brother and sister in all that they do, and watching over his parents. We love you Porter Jackson!!

Labor Day
I am a little behind with this post but Labor Day weekend we went over to Shawn's house (Dallas's half brother). It was good to get to know him and his cute family. The little turtles were a big hit for the kids!
Ami holding the turtle
Shawn's daughter Hannah and Tylie (with her very fake smile)
Hunter, Summer, Shawn, and Hannah
Blue, Shawn and DallasMay I just add that Shawn is the funniest person I know! All the Haught's are so funny. I laugh so hard around them and that day at Shawn's was no exception. He even worked at the Improv for a while. Look out Brian Regan!
Tylie was a little crazy with the turtles. When it was time to go we told her to put the turtle back and she threw it in its cage. Poor thing bounced into it!
It would make a great pet though! They are so cute and not messy at all!!Posted by laura at 3:03 PM 4 comments

I came across this video today and it made me laugh. I love how animated she is with her animal sounds! I can't believe how fast my baby is growing!!
