Better late then never...

Man how times flies! More than half the year is over and I haven't blogged this year at all!! Time for some catching up...

Clear back to Valentines Day! I just have to show these cute dolls my mom made the girls! They just happened to exactly match each girl that morning too :)

On to Easter...

My sister came into town and Saturday we hiked Camelback then ate at La Grande Orange (highly recommend!) I had the best crepes and strawberries in my life! The hike was super fun too!

The girls don't have too much competition, being the only grandkids, so they get a lot of candy!

Women's Conference...

In April I got to go to Women's Conference with my girl friends from high school. It was so much fun reuniting!

I did bring little miss Brynn along but my wonderful sister offered to watch her the whole weekend for me! They became best buds!

When's our next trip girls?!

It's about time I update...

So I am a few months behind on blogging! Things are settling down a bit. After searching for about four months we finally found our house in east Mesa. The move was crazy and stressful. From not having the key to the new house and leaving our stuff in the van all weekend, then getting the key and Dallas leaving that day to go out of town for work, and on and on but I am so thrilled that is all over and we are moved! In the midst of all that Dallas started a new job and we have been doing projects on the house constantly. Tylie started her new preschool which is just a couple houses down and Brynn has become such a mama's girl! I hope I find my drive to get back to blogging. I guess I should start where I left off, sorry no one cares about Christmas in April!

The biggest surprise for Christmas was Tylie getting a violin from Minnie and Papa!

That's all the pictures I have but on Christmas evening we went out to dinner with the Haught's to Benihana's and Christmas morning we got to talk to Chad on his mission. He sounded so good and gave us such a nice Christmas message that brought us all to tears.

Fun Events...

My mom and I took Tylie to watch her first play "Annie" at the Broadway Palm. You get to eat dinner then watch the play. I love this movie! Tylie loved that she got to pick out all her dessert!

We couldn't get Tylie to go up to the actress who played Annie but she was so sweet and came up to her.

My parents and I took the girls to a horse and buggy ride at Kierland Commons in Scottsdale. It was so fun and it even "snowed" in Arizona!

A short line ended up being a couple hour wait. Once we waited about an hour we felt stuck to wait the whole time and Tylie was determined to ride the buggy

It was worth the wait! We shopped and drank hot chocolate while waiting. I love Christmas :)

Tylie's five!

This year we surprised Tylie and took her to Disneyland on her birthday. I took her out of preschool thinking we were moving soon so she doesn't have a ton of friends for a party and I thought she would get in for free to Disneyland but I guess that was just for last year. We took her anyways and my mom and sister in law watched Brynn for us. It was so nice to have just Tylie time! And oh how she loved being the only kid in the car. She talked literally nonstop the whole way to Cali. Not a minute of sleep for that girl. Even when we took her to Cheesecake Factory the night we got there, she was chatting away and we thought she would be exhausted and fall right to sleep at the hotel but this girl needs an off button because she could not fall asleep!

This was her face during the Pinnochio ride. It is pretty freaky. Don't take your kids on this ride first! They will not want to go on any ride after that!!

Tea Cups

Her favorite thing we did at Disneyland (she will tell you) was meeting Rapunzel. The funny thing is we waiting to see her for an hour, and just as we were walking into the room Tylie started crying and running away saying she didn't want to go. Haha! Ya right! We waiting for EVER and you are going to meet her! So we forced her but later she loved it.

We got her to go on Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain but she was pretty scared. She loved the Nemo ride which I almost had a panic attack on because I was so claustrophobic! All in all it was a fun quick trip!

We had a couple friends celebrate at the park and it happened to be the most perfect weather that day in the 70s

One more party to come with the Haughts. Sheesh! I lot of birthday parties for this girl!

How the heck did I get a five year old?? I love my crazy Tylie to pieces!!
