December 30, 2009...

My brother got married!!

We love Gena and we are so excited to have her in our family!
They had a ring ceremony at Val Vista Lakes and came in from a boat. It was so cute!

Tylie could not wait to wear her dress for the wedding! Brynn wasn't so sure about it! She just stuck it in her mouth all day and got glitter everywhere!

New Years Eve...

We were so excited to be home after being out of town for about 2 weeks! So our friends the Cannons came over and we played American Idol...

So therefore, he is the champion again! Second year in a row. Just wait till next year Paul!

It was actually really fun! We ordered Chinese and attempted fondue. Next year we will get the chocolate right Trisha. Still tasted yum!

Hope you all had a very good Christmas! We enjoyed being with family and eating lots of food! It was definately different this year without Cathy. It is amazing how much one person could affect your life so much.

Tylie got some pretty cool things, but all she really needed was the dress up trunk with princess stuff in it and she would have been set!

Woo hoo!! I got a guitar! Now I just need to learn how to play...

We learned to never tell Tylie when something big is happening the next day. She didn't sleep all night Christmas Eve. And I don't mean the excited "I can't wait!" kind of not sleeping. She was up all night crying. She did the same thing the year before. I think it is just too much for her to handle. At least she is happy the next day with all the gifts!

Ha! We need more kids on my side of the family. Rachel was Joseph and Tylie loved being Mary. She wanted to do it again the next night!

Chad called Christmas morning from his mission which was so fun! My Mom wasn't excited at all!!

Well I got Tylie in her Christmas dress but she had to put her dress up stuff over. Oh well!!

My dad took her a few weeks ago to the Bass Pro Shop where you can sit on Santa's lap and they waiting in the longest line ever, then she wouldn't go up to him. I decided to try it at the mall anyways and to my surprise she was so excited and keeps telling me she wants to go back. Maybe it had to do with the fact that Raegan and Brig were doing it. We love going with the Cannons every year!

She's Four!!!!!!

My baby turned four! I can't believe it!

Tylie had a great day. When she was sleeping at night, we filled her room with balloons so when she woke up she got to start the day right off with a celebration! When Dallas and I went into her room we told her Happy Birthday and that she turned four! She didn't believe us and I said again, "Ya Tylie you are four today." She said "No I'm not because I am not taller and my hair is not longer Mom!"

Then she wanted pancakes, and it was a Mickey and Minnie day so of course they were Mickey pancakes.

I skipped making a cake this year and decided to do cupcakes. Much easier!

We covered her eyes and took her outside to show her the surprise she had been asking about. Everyday she would try to guess what she was getting. "Diz it a hat?, diz it a dress?, etc..." is what she would say.
We uncovered her eyes to show her the TRAMPOLINE! I still can't believe she has one! I always wanted one! She was way excited but when we asked her if she wanted to jump on it she said "Um, I think I will use it in the Summertime!"

All the girls and there was one boy, Dawson, who was not interested in all the princess stuff. Poor guy!

Lastly, my parents brought their gift in and all the girls gathered around. It was a princess kitchen and we were all surprised when their little dog Ruby shooted out of the fridge door! The girls were cracking up!

A few tantrums and a lot of sugar but the day was a success! Tylie has still been playing with all her toys. She is one character and I cannot imagine my life without her!

Brynn's Blessing

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We had a good week and ended it with the blessing for Brynn on Sunday.
Dallas did a great job and it was a beautiful day!

Brynn was fussy in the beginning of the blessing and then she stopped crying and fell asleep. We think Cathy had a little to do with that! It was so sad not having her here physically here for this but I think we all felt her presense.
