Recap of last week...

This last week Regan put together a baby "sprinkle" to celebrate this little girl coming. A girls night out at Cheesecake Factory! My sister was still in town from the 4th so that was fun!

My cousin Courtney was in town from Cali and she loves hanging with Tylie. One night we went to see Wicked. We had horrible seats but snuck better ones at the second half and it was fun.

Most of the week was spent swimming and playing with the puppy. It was fun!

I can't ignore the fact that as all this was going on my brother-in-law and sister-in-law were and are going through a horrible ordeal (to say the least). I questioned mentioning it because a blog seems too casual to talk about such serious things but I thought if any of you know Blue and Kelly I would just say keep them in your prayers! They lost their baby full term last year and just last week they lost another baby at 30 weeks. The incidents were not related. Just random and both very unlikely to happen yet, they have had to experience losing two children. It is heartbreaking and words cannot express how sorry I feel for them!!

Definition of a Drama Queen!!

Sometimes Tylie gets in these moods where she just talks and talks about nothing! It usually doesn't make sense but you can make out some words and phrases. It seriously cracks me up!!

We had a fun week playing with friends and family up in Mesa. Dallas was out of town for work so I decided to go up and put Tylie in swim lessons. She cried most the time but right when it was over she would say "That was SO much fun!" Ok??

I also learned how to make hairbows from my friend Kristen who is the queen of hairbows! Maybe this baby girl will wear them because Tylie wouldn't (although now that I am making them for the baby she wants to wear them).

We got together at my friend Jenny's house with some girls from high school who I hadn't seen in a long time. Here are all the kids!

Then right before I was about to leave my brother Chad got his mission call! He is going to South Dakota and is so excited! I was hoping he would leave after the baby is born. My due date is Sept. 8th and he leaves the 9th! Yay! She better come early :)

27 Weeks!

This pregnancy is going by a lot faster than Tylie's. I have been feeling really good. Can't complain! My right leg goes numb a lot and I am so out of breath and hot, but other than that I feel great!
Tylie has been so cute with my belly. I always thought there would be nothing like your first pregnancy because it is the first for everything and so exciting. I was wrong! I am so excited now because I can't wait for Tylie to see her sister. The moment I am waiting for is when Tylie comes into the hospital room and sees her sister for the first time. I know she is going to be so excited. She hugs and kisses my belly all the time and rubs it saying "Oh the baby is SO cute!" If she thinks it is cute now, I can only imagine how cute she will think the baby is when she really sees her.

Jenn and Ruby

Dallas' youngest sister, Jenn, graduated from Basha High this weekend! Way to go Jenn!!
The graduation was at ASU. Tylie was pretty good sitting through the ceremony and she was definitely the loudest screamer when they called Jenn's name. Then she thought it was so fun to scream that she started screaming for random people.

Being up in Mesa this weekend we also got to see my mom's new puppy. Hers is the one on the right, she was just watching the other one for the night.

Her name is Ruby and Tylie was in HEAVEN!

Cali

We took a quick girls trip to San Diego. One day at the beach and one day at Seaworld. We had so much fun! The beach was a little chilly so we didn't really get in the water but when the sun broke through it was nice.

Eating dinner is usually pretty hard with Tylie but she did really good. I guess with age she is getting better. She was great the whole trip. I was worried she wouldn't sleep at night in the hotel but she was so exhausted that she was completely out each night!

Rachel had just flown in from New York from being at the Survivor Finale. She has been a world traveler!

This was Tylie's first time at Seaworld. It was so fun! It was not that crowded yet and the weather was nice

She loved the dog and cat show. She is obsessed with being a dog right now so when she was watching all the puppies, I looked over and she had her tongue hanging out of her mouth!

At the end of the day on our way out we saw a momma duck with her babies. Tylie loved it!

I attempted to go on a ride with Tylie, seeing that it was not that fast or bumpy, but the lady saw that I was prego and wouldn't let me go so Aunt Rachel happily stepped in!

All I had been telling Tylie was that we were going to see Shamu! We finally sat down in the soak zone (we were hot) with our snacks all ready and of course Tylie had to go to the bathroom. With her potty issues I don't make her wait or she may start to hold it again so off we went and missed most the show but we still saw the beginning. Oh well, I was happy she pooped!! Haha

It was a fun trip and especially fun to see Tylie so good and enjoy the beach and Seaworld so much. Today she told me she misses her best friend Rachel!
