Almost here...

A little more than one day and we find out what the baby is!! Wish us luck that it isn't as stubborn as Tylie was. It took three ultra sounds to find out what she was and every time she had her legs crossed like a lady :) Hopefully this baby is spread eagle. Ha. Thursday is the big day!

Update

I haven't blogged in a while. One because Tylie threw my camera on the ground and yes, now it is broken!! Also, we have been pretty busy. Last week we were up in Mesa for a baptism, baby shower, bridal shower, bachelorette party, and to spend time with Cathy (Dallas' mom). I also told Dallas I would not post again until I went private. Now I just have to figure out how to do that! Just know we will be going private soon :)
We have been going up to Mesa a lot lately! My mother-in-law has been battling colon cancer for 12 years now and sad to say, there is no more the doctors can do for her. She is at home now with hospice and time is precious. We want to visit her as much as we can and make sure Tylie sees her as often as possible.
On a good note, Tylie has been pooping in the potty!! Seven months of her holding it in and afraid to go has hopefully come to an end!
I have been feeling really good. I was not that sick being pregnant with Tylie and this time has been even easier. I am starting to feel the baby move and it makes me realize how big it is already getting. We find out next week what it is and I can hardly wait! Tylie goes back and forth with wanting a brother or sister. Today I told Dallas I went to a doctors appointment and they found another baby in there! I didn't April fool him for a second!

Emotions!!

I just have to say that I crack up at myself for how emotional I have been lately! Pregnancy hormones maybe?! I cry at the dumbest things. Today Tylie and I went to the mall. We were waiting in line to get lunch and there were two guys waiting behind me who are in the army. An older lady walked by, stopped, turned to them and said "Thank you so much for serving our country!" That's all it took to bring tears to my eyes. I also sat there wondering why, when they were standing right next to me, was it so hard for me to say that? I don't know, but I held back the tears as I took my food.
Also, I went to Tylie's dress rehearal for her ballet recital coming up. I watched her be the trouble maker and listened as the teacher called her name several times to get back into her spot. I blame it on the age, but then again the other girls are her age and listening somewhat better, but whatever! I try to hold in my laughter because it really was hilarious watching her. Then, as if she was the best dancer in the class I started to get tears in my eyes because I was so proud of her! I went from being so embarassed to completely proud. Maybe I was proud that even though she was out of line and not paying attention, she still manages to have the funnest personality and make me laugh!

What we've been up to...

My friend Regan came to visit over the weekend. We had such a fun time! We went out to eat and to the movies. Then the next day we went to my Bodyflow class, shopped a little at Target (Regan had a total dumb pregnancy moment went she went to the dressing room to try on clothes, told the lady she had two items when she was only holding two little baby outfits. Needless to say the lady just stared at her, then Regan finally looked down and started cracking up at her self! She cracked up for about an hour after that). Then I calmed a huge craving and we ate at Sauce.

I loved every minute while Regan was here. Actually I take that back. There was one reason why our pregnancy's do not get along together. Regan's pregnancy makes her need to spit (all the time!) and my pregnancy makes me want to gag (all the time! Especially at spitting). Even if I knew Regan was spitting I started to gag. So when she tried to spit out of the window in a moving car, let's just say it didn't land outside! I wanted to throw up!
Dallas was a good dad and hung out with Tylie all weekend. He took her for her first horse back ride. In this picture you see she isn't wearing her helmet because she freaked out and didn't want it on but the guy made her wear it.

Somehow they got it on her. I asked Dallas if they had fun and he said yes but she freaked out about wearing jeans that she wouldn't walk in them and then the helmet thing. She then also got mad at the little boy who got to ride the horse after her saying it was her's! Oh and I can't leave out that Dallas said for the longest time Tylie was yelling "It stinks here!!!" Haha.

This is just a shot of our normal kind of day with Tylie dressing up. She loves to wear her princess dresses and put on all her jewelry.

She changes clothes all day long. Her room aften looks like a tornado hit.

Ya, it's pretty funny when I get her up from her nap everyday and she is wearing something different than what I put her to bed in! This girl is so funny!

Before we go private there's one thing you should know...

Yep! That's right! Tylie is going to be a big sister!!

We are so excited and Tylie can hardly wait. She wants "her baby" right now! Whenever she sees a baby (especially baby Brooke) she says the longest awwwwwwwwww and all she wants to do is hold them. She will be such a good helper.

I am feeling good and at 11 weeks. It wasn't so easy to get pregnant the second time around and with one miscarriage, we are so grateful for this healthy pregnancy! I pray that things will continue to go as well as they have. We are expecting this little one on Sept. 8th.

I have to say my dreams have gotten crazier. The most vivid one is when someone stuck a tac into my head and made a long narrow hole in my head. Then when I asked them to take it out, my brains all came out with it! Maybe this is a way of saying I am going to lose my mind! Haha

Snow and Cookies

Yesterday we woke up to this! Last week we were at the park everyday in 70-80 degree weather. Now we have snow. So strange, but so fun!
This is the third year in a row we have had snow in Tucson

My mom gave us these cute aprons. Tylie loved hers and even slept in it for a few days.

I am glad I have Valentine's Day as my excuse to make sugar cookies. I love them!

Crazy girl!!

Like every mom, there is not a day that goes by that my child does not test my patience. Okay I know I was a problem child and I threw a LOT of fits. Pay back?? Just thought I would share my day...
So I tell Tylie we are going to Target and the mall to find a baby shower gift. We make it to Target. After she tries on all the shoes we head over to the baby clothes. Not five minutes into shopping Tylie is undressing and attempting to put a dress on that she finds. I tell her no. It took me all morning just to get her own clothes on her. After she yells at me, hits me, runs away from me, and rolls her eyes at me I decide enough! I dropped the stuff and ran out of there, Tylie half naked kicking and screaming. She screams all the way home that she wants to go to the mall! Haha, ya right.
We get home and she immediately wants to put on her Sleeping Beauty dress. Okay sure. Then comes another fit. The dress bothers her. So take it off. Nope she wants to wear it that bad so she suffers through the uncomfortable dress. After a few more fits, finally nap time!
Okay I know she is three. They throw fits. As I walk away from putting her to bed I think "At least she pooped today!" I can take fits over her holding in her poop for 7 days like last week :) Oh Tylie, you are so crazy, but that's why I love you!!
